Men's Fours decided at the Everglades

The final of the Men's Fours competition was played at Everglades Bowling Club on Saturday, January 30, between Anthony Wakefield's team and Barry Cross's team.

Wakefield's team mates were Jim Haldane, Gary Anderson and Mark Robertson while Barry Cross had the support of Gary Clarke, Mal Hughes and Kevin Hughes.

"Wakefield's team got off to a great start and yet at the half way mark it was 11-11," said Bowls Central Coast publicity officer Mr Peter Springett.

"With three multiple scores in quick time, Wakefield's team slowly pulled away winning the game 24-15."
