CWA still waiting for compensation for wharf land
Central Coast Council has not paid compensation to the Woy Woy branch of the Country Women's Association for land used for the wharf upgrade.
"Council are yet to compensate us for the land they took from our grounds when our boundary had to be moved for the wharf upgrade," according to branch president Ms Jane Bowtell.
The branch has been waiting for more than six months for contact from the council, since the branch applied for compensation and was promised contact from a Council representative, Ms Bowtell said.
