Amenities include change rooms, canteen and storage

The Rogers Park amenities building will have 10 toilets, a canteen with storage, two change rooms with showers, a referees' room and three storage areas.

Central Coast Council administrator Mr Rik Hart said: "This improved sports amenities building will help support local sports groups that make a valuable contribution to our community's health and wellbeing and provide a facility where everyone can participate."

Construction is scheduled for completion by the start of the winter sports season in April next year, weather permitting.

This project is funded by the Australian Government under the under the Community Development Grants Program for $800,000 with Central Coast Council paying for the remaining $550,000.
