Aboriginal student excursion to Umina

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Year 5 students from Woy Woy South Public School attended a Cultural Continuum excursion at Umina Beach Public School on Wednesday, May 11.

Knowledge was shared about the relationship aboriginal people have with the land and the changing environment, said Woy Woy South principal Mr Matt Barr.

"Students also had the opportunity to try some delicious native foods like kangaroo burgers, wattle seed damper and lilly pilly."
