School creates Year 2 Museum
Umina Beach Public School created a Year 2 Museum at the school on Friday, July 22.
"Our students had such a great time looking at, talking about and learning about many different historical items," said principal Ms Karen Wardlaw.
Parents had been invited to lend "anything from the past that would be suitable to display".
"Items you have at home that are about 20 years old or older would be most appreciated.
"We can assure you that any valuable items will not be handled by the children."
