Marine Rescue holds training weekend
Marine Rescue Central Coast has held a training weekend for new rescue watercraft trainees.
The trainees practised their patient pick ups, transferring a patient from the rescue watercraft to a rescue boat, and also manoeuvring.
There were also a couple of jobs over the weekend.
The first task was with a wake boat that was stuck on the sand.
The rescue watercraft were used to take a towline from the rescue vessel to the wake boat.
The second job was a small tinny that lost its outboard and needed a tow back to the boat ramp.
