Presbyterian church welcomes new minister

Woy Woy Presbyterian Church has welcomed a new minister, the Reverend Jon Brown, on Saturday, March 23.

Mr Brown previously ministered at Charlestown Presbyterian Church where he was associate minister.

"He brings much experience and enthusiasm to the growing congregation at St David's Presbyterian Church, Woy Woy," said session clerk Mr Spencer Madrell.

"Jon finished his studies at Queensland Theological College in 2017, served at a church near Geelong and has served at Charlestown Presbyterian Church since 2020.

"Jon is married to Ang and they have four young sons: Ambrose, Barnabas, Clement and David.

"Jon describes himself as a man who loves Jesus, sharing the gospel with people, country music and coffee, in that order.

Woy Woy Presbyterian Church is located at 120 Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy.

"It is a Bible-believing, family-oriented community church which aims to grow followers of Jesus," said Mr Madrell.

"The family at the church ranges from very young infants to seniors, some even in retirement villages."

Local residents are invited to "drop in to say hello".

"You will be made most welcome."
