Arts and crafts at 'pop-up centre'
The Ettalong Beach Art and Craft Centre will hold a "pop-up centre" at the Creative Hub, Oval Ave, Woy Woy, from November 21 to December 2.
The centre aims to give residents a chance to try their hand at a craft or skill without committing to long term classes.
Sessions will be run on eight different topics.
Hand-pieced Patchwork will be run by Ms Penny Howard from 10am to 2pm on Mondays, November 21 and 28.
Ms Wendy Burgess will demonstrate Felted Christmas Baubles from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, November 22, and a Needle-felted Christmas Garland from 1pm to 3pm the same day.
Ms Sue Sullivan and Ms Pam Dennis will lead Hand Building Pottery Play from 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays, November 23 and 30.
Ms Yuley Buist will Prepare, Paint and Hang Art between 10am and 11:30am and between 12:30pm and 2pm on Thursdays, November 24 and December 1.
On the same Thursdays, Ms Carol Leitch will take Hanging Textile Art and Penny Howard will Recycle T-shirt to Table Mat.
An Altered Bottle Workshop will be held by Ms Stephnie Sell from 10am to 2pm on Friday, November 25.
Textile Art Techniques and Sales will be run by Ms Leitch and Ms Howard from 10am to 1pm on Friday, December 2.
