Song and dance at Mingaletta
The song and dance of Moa Island in the Torres Strait was presented at Mingaletta on Saturday, February 17, by the Naisda Dance Company from Kariong.
Head of dance Deon Hastie joined by cultural tutors Dujon Niue, Jeanetta Fabila, Helen Anu, Masepah Banu, Casey Natty, Berthalia Ruben and Aba Bero with Naisda developing and practising artists for the presentation.
Dance tutorials were offered and a free lunch included.
