Tony Tully wins skins competition

Tony Tully has won a skins golf competition in the final played at Everglades Country Club on Wednesday, February 14.

The final was played for a prize pool of $1200 by four A-graders with only five shots between them.

Tony Tully won $375 from Ernest McGillicuddy $335, Jim Martin $295 and Ian Foster $195.

Over five Handiskins qualifying rounds, Jim Martin scored 31, 39, 39, 28 and 36 for a total of 114.

Next was Ernest McGillicuddy with 0, 42, 33, 38 and 33 for a total of 113.

He was followed by Ian Foster with 38, 35, 33, 31 and 37 for a total of 110.

Tony Tully was fourth qualifier with 31, 30, 36, 38 and 33, totalling 107.

Round winners were: round one Ian Foster 38, round two Stuart Simpson 42, round three Jim Martin 39, round four Ernest McGillicuddy 38 and round five Jeff Andrew 37.
