Sporting groups encouraged to apply for defibrillators
Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch is encouraging local groups to apply for funds under the NSW Government's Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program.
The program provides up to $3000 to eligible sporting organisations for the purchase of automated external defibrillators at sports facilities.
Applications close on November 27 or when funding is exhausted.
Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch said: "Defibrillators are vital pieces of equipment for our communities.
"With more people getting involved in sport and recreation, it is so important that sports facilities have the critical equipment on hand to respond to life-threatening incidents such as cardiac arrest."
