New list of Peninsula polling places

Pre-poll voting centres at the Peninsula Community Centre and at the Broken Bay Scout Hall in Umina will be open from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, April 28 to May 1, and from 8:30am to 6pm on Friday, May 2.

On election day, Saturday, May 3, 10 locations will be open from 8am to 6pm across the Peninsula, according to the Australian Electoral Commission.

Three polling stations around Ettalong will be at Booker Bay Pre-school, Ettalong Public School and at Ettalong 50+ Leisure and Learning Centre.

Three polling stations will be open in Umina: at Umina Uniting Church Community Centre, at Umina Beach Public School and at the Mingaletta hall.

Four polling stations around Woy Woy will be at Peninsula Community Centre, the Woy Woy campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College, Woy Woy South Public School and at Coastlink's South Woy Woy Hall.

Contrary to information previously published on the Commission's website and consequently published in the April 22 edition of Peninsula News, there will be no polling stations in Pearl Beach, Patonga or The Bays.

There will also be no polling stations at Umina library or at the Umina campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College.
