Umina women play triples championships
A team led by Leila Gilmour has won the 2021 Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club Triples Championship, completed on Friday, February 19.
In the semi-finals, Kaye Cavanagh, Gwen Jarratt and Yvonne Gordon defeated Barbara Bounty, Tanya Valli and Larraine Cooper.
In the other semi-final, Lorraine Rynehart, Debra Moore and Leila Gilmour defeated Carol Dickson, Jeanette Gaul and Carol Boyd.
"In a closely-fought final, Leila's team won over Yvonne's team 16-13," said club website editor Ms Lesley Swales.
"It was a great game to watch
"There were some close matches throughout the event and great bowls played."
