Students help clean up waterways
Student volunteers from Team 9 at Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina campus have helped clean up local waterways.
"Every student worked hard to ensure they removed as much litter from our local waterways as possible," said campus principal Ms Kerrie O'Heir.
There was "a focus to minimise the effects of plastic in the waterways and their influence on our native fish, birds and animals."
