Handicap Pairs bowls championship played
John Hall and Terry Murphy have won the Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club's first championship for 2021, the Handicap Pairs.
They defeated Darrin Fleming and Tony Potter, 25-16. on Tuesday, March 2, in a game that was played into the evening.
"This was a very good final, played in front of a good crowd," said club secretary Mr Peter Springett.
"Darrin and Tony had an early lead of 8-2, but John and Terry picked up six shots to make it 8-8.
"This end seemed to give John and Terry some momentum and they moved into the lead and stayed there."
