Bailey Meti pipped in national singles championship
Ettalong bowler Bailey Meti was pipped at the post in Australian Open Boys Under-18 Singles Championship played on the Gold Coast on Friday, June 25.
Bailey won his knockout rounds of the championship to play in the final, said Bowls Central Coast publicity officer Mr Peter Springett.
He was ultimately defeated by Coffs Harbour's Joseph Clarke in a 27-end marathon with a score of 21-15, even holding three shots before the final winning bowl by Clarke.
