Little aths committee seeks to fill vacancies

The Woy Woy Peninsula Little Athletics committee has vacancies for a secretary and officers for track and field coordination, for uniforms and for sponsorship.

The little athletics association elected a new committee for the 2021-22 season, but these positions remain vacant.

President Ms Christine Murphy thanked the parents and former Little Athletes "who have stepped up to keep our club organised for another year".

"We are still short for a few key positions," she said.

"If you have an hour or two to spare a month to help with admin or could give us a hand on Friday nights at the oval, you would be very welcome to fill one of the casual commitee vacancies still on offer."

Three people were appointed to share the vice-president position: Kylie Brown, Fiona Wadeson and Lisa Holt

Others appointed were treasurer Sylvia Turnbull and registrar Chantelle Sives.

Officer positions filled were records and rankings by Natalie Ham, championships Rochelle Martin, PR and Publicity Christine Murphy, trophies and encouragement Deborah Van Breugal, coaching and education Elana Withnall, technical and equipment Tom Szymanski, First Aid - Fiona Wadeson and member protection Kylie Brown.
