Rugby club gets funding to 'improve players' experience'
The Woy Woy Rugby Club has received $10,000 in funding to "improve the experience for senior players, fostering camaraderie, and promoting health and wellbeing".
It will be used to organise specialised training sessions tailored to the needs of senior players.
Sports scientists and physiotherapists will be employed for injury prevention and recovery.
Subsidies will be available for registration fees for senior players and provide discounted memberships to local gyms and health facilities.
It will also facilitate mentoring programs between senior and junior players.
The funding came in the form of a Club Grant from Ettalong Diggers Club.
