Umina surf club holds annual awards night

Umina Surf Life Saving Club held its annual awards night on Saturday, May 31.

Among the award winners were Club Person of the Year was Danny Cunningham, and Young Club Person of the Year - Matilda Lawrence.

Lifesaver of the Year was Dean Tetley, and Young Lifesaver of the Year - Cashar Darwin.

Stirrers Paddle went to Andrew Boylan.

Members' Choice were Damon Somerfield and Bradley Dawson.

Education Excellence winner was Meghan Cronin.

Patrol Captain of the Year was Davara Marshall and Patrol of the Year was Patrol 4.

Masters Encouragement award went to Luis Angosto-Fernandez and Masters Competitor award went to Richelle Ingram.

Tour de Force was Timon Adamec, Youth Competitor Marli Hoyland and Open Competitor Cashar Darwin.

Lifesaving Encouragement award went to Pippi Magurren.

Lifesaving Competitor was Kerry Armstrong-Smith.

Pool Rescue Competitor was Shelley Smith.

Pam Edmonds was awarded Life Membership, the 40th person to receive the honour.

National Service Medal were awarded to Nick Shepard, Robert McLeod and Jarryd Edmonds.
