Lions win one of four round 14 games
Woy Woy Rugby Club has won one of its four games in Round 14 of Central Coast Rugby Union competition played on Saturday, July 26.
In Premier 1, Northlakes-The Bay defeated Woy Woy 36-5.
Northlakes-The Bay controlled the pace of the game from the outset, with strong performances across their forward pack.
They now leap back into fourth place and have it all to play for in the final round.
Northlakes-The Bay defeated Woy Woy 14-14 in Premier 2.
In a spirited battle between two sides who have struggled for results this year, it was Northlakes-The Bay who came out on top.
Both teams exchanged tries in a well-contested opening half, but Northlakes-The Bay found more cohesion in the second half to edge ahead and claim a confidence-boosting win.
In Women's Premier 1, Woy Woy defeated Northlakes-The Bay 38-21 Woy Woy had a strong and spirited home win.
The side played with intent from the opening whistle and capitalised on opportunities across the park.
Northlakes-The Bay stayed competitive and had their moments, but the Roosters were too sharp on the day.
In Premier 3, Razorbacks 26 defeated Woy Woy 12.
The Razorbacks notched a solid win over Woy Woy, who stayed in the contest for large periods.
The Razorback's consistency and discipline proved the difference in the second half.
