Pie in the sky ride is 95 kilometres
Central Coast Bicycle User Group will hold a 95km ride from Woy Woy railway station to Pie in the Sky cafe at Cowan from 6:30am on Saturday, August 2.
The ride is expected to take 5.5 hours
It will be a moderate-paced ride from Woy Woy to Pie in the Sky cafe and back, through the picturesque Brisbane Water National Park and over the Hawkesbury River.
"Designed for more experienced riders, we mostly utilise the old Pacific Hwy and include five longish climbs," said ride leader Alan Corven.
"There is nothing too steep, but you'll certainly know you've been up a few hills by the time you get home."
Riders should bring their own water, snack and money for coffee or a drink at Pie in the Sky or another cafe.
Riders may opt out at Brooklyn for a train home if required.
"Otherwise it's call a friend for a pickup."
For further information, call Alan on 0414 538 977.
