Campus holds Girls Get Active gala day
Female students from Years 7-10 at Umina campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College participated in a Girls Get Active Gala Day with basketball, football, pilates and yoga, gym and floorball sessions last week.
The aim was to learn new skills and develop confidence in a non-competitive setting.
The sessions were conducted with expert coaches and included question and answer sessions with female athletes and other sports experts.
