Two sporting clubs receive $25,000 in grants
Two local sporting clubs have received a total of $25,000 in grants to cover a range of club running costs and improvements.
Southern and Ettalong United Football Club has received a $20,000 grant to buy equipment such as match balls, nets, jerseys, bibs and line-marking supplies
It will also be used for ground and facility maintenance not covered by council.
It will help run programs like One Culture, offering football opportunities to people living with disabilities.
It will also cover the final fit-out of a new accessible toilet block at James Browne Oval.
Woy Woy Peninsula Netball Association has received a $5000 grant which will go towards operating costs.
This grant will help offset representative fees and travel costs for families.
It will support team accommodation at the State Titles in Parramatta.
The cost of Netball NSW coach accreditation for skill development will also be covered.
It will be used to pomote and grow men's netball in the region.
Some of the money will go towards training equipment and sun-safe shelters.
Both grants are Category 2 Club Grants from Ettalong Diggers.
