Bowling arm tournament attracts 48 bowlers
Bowlers from Maitlland, Dubbo, Bomaderry and most bowling clubs in Central Coast took part in Umina Beach Bowling Club's inaugural open gender three-bowl Graded Pairs Bowling Arm Tournament on Saturday, May 6.
The event attracted 48 bowlers entered the event, which was played in sunshine on two grass greens running at about 14 seconds.
The tournament comprised of three games of 10 ends.
The tournament winners were:
1. Stewart Duncan and Greg Collin (3 wins + 49) Umina/Dubbo.
2. Phil Hain and Dean Winton (3 wins + 10) The Entrance.
3. Judy Brown and Terry Brown (3 wins + 9) Umina.
4. Larry Johnston and Allan Rhodes (2.5 wins + 3) Umina.
