CWA considers evening meetings

The Country Women's Association is considering holding an evening meeting on the Peninsula for a growing membership, many of whom cannot attend day meetings.

An information evening to consider the possibility will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at Umina Beach CWA Hall.

"Over the last four years, the branches at Umina Beach and Woy Woy have experienced a remarkable increase in membership," said Umina branch member Ms Marg Key.

"Due to this growth, there is consideration to starting an evening meeting on the Peninsula for women who can't attend during the day.

"There are so many benefits to being part of an organisation like this.

"People often say they love the connection and belonging that comes with being a CWA member.

"It's a great way to meet new people and make a positive impact in your local area."

The meeting will start at 7pm at the Umina hall, which has recently been renovated and is located at the corner of Ocean Beach and Sydney Rds.

For further information, phone Ms Key at 0410 324 282 or email margo.key@gmail.com.

Information about the CWA on the Central Coast is available on the Northumberland Group website at https://cwanorthumberland.org.au.
