Mingaletta hosts plumbing session for women
Mingaletta will be hosting a plumbing program for women on Friday, May 19, from 10.30am.
"The three-hour program by Benchworks is aimed at helping single women learn how to change taps and fix toilet cisterns with hands-on do-it-yourself plumbing training," said Mingaletta co-ordinator Aunty Di O'Brien.
Topics will include how to diagnose the issue and to know the right questions to ask when engaging a plumber.
Those attending will need a screwdriver and a shifting spanner, which may be available on request.
Bookings are required.
The cost is $5 with 15 places available.
