'Meet the Editor' to mark 25 years
Peninsula News' founding editor Mr Mark Snell wants to meet you - our readers - as the newspaper celebrates 25 years.
Readers will have the opportunity to "meet the editor" and discuss the past, present and future of our newspaper at two sessions in April.
They will both be held on Monday, April 22 - one during the day and one at night.
A morning session will be held at Woy Woy Library at 11am, while an evening session will be held at Ettalong Bowling Club at 7pm.
On each occasion, editor Mr Snell will talk about the role of local newspapers in fostering a sense of community and supporting local democracy.
Questions and discussion will follow.
"I'm interested in hearing what readers value about Peninsula News and their thoughts about its future as it faces the challenges ahead," he said.
While bookings are not necessary, confirmation of attendance is encouraged.
