Louise Lambeth named Woman of the Year
Umina children's author Ms Louise Lambeth has been named the 2024 Gosford Woman of the Year.
Announcing the award, Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch said: "Louise is a fierce advocate for water safety, working alongside our local surf clubs to introduce water safety programs for locals and visitors at Pearl Beach."
Ms Lambeth is a member of the Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club and author of the water safety books Rohit and the River and the Tight Lines.
"Louise is a powerful community leader, saving lives one at a time through education," said Ms Tesch.
"With people like Louise in our community, we truly are lucky."
