Council teams to help with dunecare and bushcare
Pearl Beach dunecare co-ordinator Mr Phil Rich and bushcare co-ordinator Mr Stephen Parsons have met with council officers and contractors about work required at Pearl Beach.
They discussed deployment of two teams of two to work on a key dune site in front of the walking bridge and on the Paul Landa Reserve.
They gave an undertaking to rectify signage and to add COSS signage.
Two trays of acacias would be delivered in mid May.
The co-ordinators said they were appreciative the assistance to augment the volunteer work.
