Deadline today for Flash Festival scripts
The deadline for short play scripts for Woy Woy Little Theatre's Flash Festival is today, Monday, May 5.
Flash is a themed competitive short play Festival, open to residents of the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
This year's theme is Home.
The festival aims to encourage increased participation and opportunities for live theatre for writers and creators.
"We welcome a mix of new and experienced writers, actors and directors," said Little Theatre box office manager Mr Graham Vale.
"This year we are unable to present writing workshops.
"However, we will be presenting an acting- directing workshop on Saturday, June 28."
Directors are now being sought for the festival.
Expressions of interest in the workshop are also being sought from actors and for auditions on Sunday, July 27.
Rehearsals start on Monday, August 18.
Flash Festival performances will be held over the weekend of September 19-21.
