No Stopping at Webb Rd-Booker Bay Rd corner
No stopping signs will be installed at the corner of Webb and Booker Bay Rds, Booker Bay, in response to requests from residents.
The Local Traffic Committee has been told that Central Coast Council had been approached by residents about road safety at the intersection.
The committee was told that Council staff had observed vehicles parking within the statutory 10 metres of the intersection.
This was reducing sight distance for vehicles exiting Webb Rd.
"Parking demands in this area are heightened due to the proximity of the Ettalong Ferry terminal," the committee was told.
It was proposed "to install No Stopping signs and an NS1 No Stopping line to reinforce the statutory 10 metres of No Stopping at the intersection of Webb Rd and Booker Bay Rd".
"Consultation was carried out with adjacent residents with no objections received.
"The cost for the installation of the sign posting and line marking will be accommodated within the existing traffic facilities budget and be undertaken as soon as work priorities permit."
