Little Theatre holds its latest monthly play reading

Woy Woy Little Theatre has held the latest of its monthly play readings at 7:30pm on Monday, April 28.

All are welcome to the free informal play readings in the foyer of the Peninsula Theatre, Woy Woy.

Membership is not required to attend.

Those attending can choose to read or just listen in.

The April play reading was The Cripple of Inishmaan, a dark comedy by Martin McDonagh.

The play links to the real life filming of the documentary, Man of Aran.

The play is set on the small Aran Islands community of Inishmaan off the western coast of Ireland in 1934, where the inhabitants were excited to learn of a Hollywood film crew's arrival in neighbouring Inishmore to make a documentary about life on the islands.
