Council shade trees plan is good news
The council plan to provide shade trees is good news.
The list of selected trees and their location is the next bit we need.
My home has a non-native tree in the "nature strip" polluting the area with annoying seeds.
The wrong size tree will soon reach the power lines and need a savage misshaping.
I am 100 hours and $200 into growing natives of this area to replace the xenomorphic misplacement.
The native banksias and similar will fit under the power line without annual abuse.
After the first year or two, they will not need massive supplies of water during summer.
Our birds will love the flowers.
Their non-invasive roots will let me add rosemary and similar plants underneath for the culinary benefit of my friends in the area.
What has the council planned for us?
