Changeover meeting features special presentations
The Rotary Club of Umina Beach held its annual Changeover at the end of June, featuring a number of special presentations.
Outbound exchange student Millie Hayes addressed the meeting via a video call from Brazil where she is living and learning this year.
A special presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow was made to club member Mr Rouel Vergara for his international work with a project providing fresh water hand washing facilities in the Philippines.
Club president Mr Dave Tanare was presented with the club's Rotarian of the Year award "for his non-stop leadership of the club", while Mr Paul Henry was inducted as an honarary member of the club.
The new club board sees Mr Tanare continue as president, assisted by Vergara, Mr Paul Quinn, Mr Glen Scorer, Mr Wayne Dowdle, Mr Robert Meyer and Mr Bruce Croft.
