Body believed to be that of missing woman
A body found at Iron Ladder Beach, Box Head, on Saturday, May 10, is believed to be that of a 79-year-old woman reported missing from Ettalong.
She was last seen on Ocean View Rd at about 1pm, on Thursday, May 8.
When she could not be located, Brisbane Water Police commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Emergency services located the body of a woman at Iron Ladder Beach, Box Head, just after midday on Saturday, May 10.
While the body had not been formally identified, police believed it to be that of the missing woman.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
