Peninsula News enriches our civil society
As a citizen the Woy Woy Peninsula, I write to thank you and your team of volunteers for the valuable work you do in producing and distributing Peninsula News to us every fortnight.
With the Federal election now behind us, it was particularly valuable that you kept us abreast of the election campaigns of our local candidates and of the voting requirements with information about where and how to vote.
Indeed I understand that about half the voters in Robertson voted before election day, either through absentee voting or pre-polling.
Your work certainly enriches our civil society and our ability to keep abreast of issues with the Central Coast Council, State Government and Federal Government, and with events, personalities and possible solutions to our local concerns and problems.
I understand Peninsula News is particularly valued by our older citizens, some of whom are not connected to social media.
Keep up the good work.
