Interclub bridge event held at Brisbane Water club

Eleven teams battled out Round Two of the lnterclub Teams event held at Brisbane Water Bridge Club on Monday, May 5.

Gosford Team Grayden had a narrow win with a 7-0-3 win-draw-loss record from Brisbane Water Team Tomlinson who also had a 7-0-3 record, the difference being some strong Victory Points in an earlier round.

Team Foate, a Gosford-Long Jetty-Brisbane Water mixture came in third.

The tournament was contested over 10 five-board matches.

The event was organised by tournament secretary Peter Hume and was directed by Ronnie Ng.

Results of inter-club teams after 10 of 10 matches were:

1 Anne Grayden, Julie Sadler, Sally Clarke, Vic Pietraszkiewicz 82 Imps (131.65 VPs), 7-0-3 W-D-L, 1.56 red points.

2 Hope Tomlinson, Barry Foster, Martin Johnson, Chris Hasemore 62 (125.99), 7-0-3, 1.26.
