Park run attracts 227 runners

The Woy Woy Park Run on Saturday, May 10, attracted 227 runners, including 25 first-timers, and recording 40 personal best times.

Tim Thornely completed his 250th Park Run, Joshua Roberts and Patricia Kavanagh their 50th and Tim Ashby, Lee Degeling, Maddison Fawdry and Emma Gordon their 25th.

First male to finish was 15-17 years runner Luca Quitadamo in a time of 18:53, while first female to finish was Lylah Glynn in a time of 20:18, running in the 11-14 years age group.

Highest percentages were Lylah Glynn with 81.94 per cent, and Mark Wilson in the 60-64 year age group with 76.65 per cent.

Runners to record personal best times were: Luca Quitadamo, Christopher Tansley, Stephen Williams, Savannah Glynn, Scott Johnston, Simon Hewson, Rosalind Wols, Britteny Dawson, Robyn Allan, Benjamin Skinner, Rory Allan, Pearce Isaac Foster, Damien Bradburn, Maureen McCormack, Nicholas Henderson, Olivia Severn, Linda Johnson, Gemma Fabbiani, Lisa Mitchell, Ella Cunningham, Gavin Pollard, Mia Draper, Danny Vuong, Tim Ashby, Dray Knight, Meisha Mower, Kristian Dalton, Lisa McLean, Nick Green, Catriona Broad, Kathryn McCormack, Emma Gordon, Hannah Mills, Alexandra Lockett, Thom Newman, Matt Cunningham, Josiah Wilkes, Amy Cunningham, Zoe Okolakpa and Fiona Foley.

Volunteers helping on the day were: Dale Bachelor, Matthew Booth, Janine Bowdidge, Karen Duncan, Natalie Duncan, Chris Lee, Melissa Porter, Sean Richardson, Steve Russell, Donald Sutherland, Lucy Thomley and Scott Wedesweiler.
